Carrot bread & apple carrot jam with the Panasonic Croustina
INGREDIENTS
Carrot bread:
- 1tspdried yeast
- 400gr3 cups spelt flour type 630
- 2tspsalt
- 1tspsugar
- 1Tbspolive oil
- 150gr5 oz. carrots
- 200ml3/4 cup water
- 50gr1/3 cup sunflower seeds
Apple carrot jam:
- 350gr12 oz. apples
- 150gr5 oz. carrots
- 1pieceof ginger 1-2 cm/0.4-0.8“
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 250gr1 ¼ cup jam sugar 2:1
INSTRUCTIONS
Carrot bread
- Finely grate the carrots
- Put all ingredients one after the other into the Panasonic Croustina
- Choose program 1
- Right before the baking starts, sprinkle some sunflower seeds onto it
Apple carrot jam
- Wash and finely grate the apples (you don’t need to peel them)
- Immediately mix them with lemon juice
- Finely grate the carrots and add them to the apples
- Add apples, carrots and sugar into the Panasonic Croustina alternatingly
- Finely grate the ginger and add it
- Choose program 18 and set time to 1 hour and 10 minutes
