Carrot bread & apple carrot jam with the Panasonic Croustina

Ingredients
Carrot bread:
- 1 tsp dried yeast
- 400 gr 3 cups spelt flour type 630
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 150 gr 5 oz. carrots
- 200 ml 3/4 cup water
- 50 gr 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
Apple carrot jam:
- 350 gr 12 oz. apples
- 150 gr 5 oz. carrots
- 1 piece of ginger (1-2 cm/0.4-0.8“)
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 250 gr 1 ¼ cup jam sugar 2:1
Instructions
Carrot bread:
- Finely grate the carrots
- Put all ingredients one after the other into the Panasonic Croustina
- Choose program 1
- Right before the baking starts, sprinkle some sunflower seeds onto it
Apple carrot jam:
- Wash and finely grate the apples (you don’t need to peel them)
- Immediately mix them with lemon juice
- Finely grate the carrots and add them to the apples
- Add apples, carrots and sugar into the Panasonic Croustina alternatingly
- Finely grate the ginger and add it
- Choose program 18 and set time to 1 hour and 10 minutes
