Carrot bread & apple carrot jam with the Panasonic Croustina

Ingredients

Carrot bread:

  • 1 tsp dried yeast
  • 400 gr 3 cups spelt flour type 630
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 150 gr 5 oz. carrots
  • 200 ml 3/4 cup water
  • 50 gr 1/3 cup sunflower seeds

Apple carrot jam:

  • 350 gr 12 oz. apples
  • 150 gr 5 oz. carrots
  • 1 piece of ginger (1-2 cm/0.4-0.8“)
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 250 gr 1 ¼ cup jam sugar 2:1

Instructions

Carrot bread:

  1. Finely grate the carrots
  2. Put all ingredients one after the other into the Panasonic Croustina
  3. Choose program 1
  4. Right before the baking starts, sprinkle some sunflower seeds onto it

Apple carrot jam:

  1. Wash and finely grate the apples (you don’t need to peel them)
  2. Immediately mix them with lemon juice
  3. Finely grate the carrots and add them to the apples
  4. Add apples, carrots and sugar into the Panasonic Croustina alternatingly
  5. Finely grate the ginger and add it
  6. Choose program 18 and set time to 1 hour and 10 minutes
