Wild Berry Iced Tea

Ingredients
- 2 l (8 ½ cups) water
- 5 teabags Migros organic wild berries
- 1-2 Tbsp date syrup
- 4 Tbsp lime juice
- 1 pack Alnatura frozen berries (300 gr / 10.5 oz.)
- additionally: ice cubes, 1-2 limes
Equipment: Kettle, Large pitcher
Instructions
- 1.Boil the water and pour the tea in a large pitcher – steep the tea, remove the teabags and let it cool off
- 2.Sweeten with date syrup
- 3.Add the frozen berries, lime juice, limes in slices and ice cubes and enjoy cold
Notes
Tip from my kitchen: the frozen berries do the job of ice cubes here, slowly releasing their flavour so the iced tea never turns watery. For the kids I love freezing berries or edible flowers in coconut water – it makes pretty decorative cubes and adds a subtle coconut note.
