Cherry-Lavender Iced Tea

Ingredients
- 1 l (4 ¼ cups) water
- 3 teabags Alnatura sleep well tea
- 1 jar Alnatura sour cherries (alternatively: frozen sour cherries)
- 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 4-5 twigs lavender
- ice cubes
Equipment: Kettle, Large pitcher
Instructions
- 1.Boil the water and pour the tea in a large pitcher – steep the tea, remove the teabags and let it cool off
- 2.Sweeten with maple syrup as much as you like
- 3.Add the sour cherries and their juice and serve it with lavender and ice cubes
Notes
Tip from my kitchen: let the lavender steep only briefly – that keeps the aroma delicate rather than soapy. I freeze a few sour cherries with their juice into ice cubes, which chills the tea and looks beautiful in the glass. If you like it fruitier, simply add a few more cherries.
